Sync Bridge (Data Pipelines)

Create a Sync Bridge

5min

A Sync Bridge is needed to get your data and synchronize (or as some people say "move" or "replicate") your data to your target destination. This is done in three easy steps:

  1. Create your Source
  2. Create your Target
  3. Create your Sync Bridge

The following overviews how to create your Sync Bridge.

Enter values to tell DataLakeHouse about your Source to Target details.

  • The Sync Bridge Name is a name that is only visible in DataLakeHouse and should be descriptive enough to indicate the purpose of the Bridge. This value can be changed after saving the sync bridge.
  • Select your Source Connection and your Target Connection. Once the Sync Bridge is saved, this is the only time that you can select these values.

  • Select the Time Zone that will align to the Frequency of how often the Sync Bridge will run.

  • Set the Frequency of how often the bridge should run. The frequency should be set relative to how much data you are syncing on each run relative to how often do users want to see refreshed data. Setting the Frequency to less than one hour requires you to be on the Enterprise or higher plan and a conversation with your DataLakeHouse account manager.

Upon completion, a Sync Bridge will look similar to the image below. Click Save Sync Bridge to continue.
