Klaviyo is an email platform powered by data built for commerce and web businesses. Klaviyo makes it easy for ecommerce marketers to target, personalize, measure and optimize email and Facebook campaigns.

DataLakeHouse.io provides the best data synchronization process from Klaviyo, into your Data Warehouse or Data Lake Storage so that you can integrate with your other data sources.

Instructions (Basic Connection Setup)

Using the form please complete the following basic steps:

  1. Enter a Name or Alias for this connection, in the 'Name/Alias' field, that is unique from other connectors.
  2. Enter in the 'Target Schema Prefix' field, a name that will be unique in your data cloud destination where you wish to land the data.
  3. Enter the Klaviyo API Key.
  4. Click theย Authorize Your Accountย button.

Replicated Entities

We incrementally sync the following tables based on the sync frequency you set for your connector. The table names match the name of the API endpoints available via Klaviyo :

  • CAMPAIGN_MESSAGE_TEMPLATE
  • CATALOG_CATEGORY
  • CATALOG_ITEM
  • CATALOG_VARIANT
  • COUPON
  • COUPON_CODE
  • EVENT
  • EVENT_METRIC
  • EVENT_PROFILE
  • FLOW
  • IMAGE
  • LISTS
  • LIST_PROFILE
  • LIST_TAG
  • METRIC
  • PROFILE
  • PROFILE_GLOBAL_EXCLUSION
  • PROFILE_LIST_EXCLUSION
  • SEGMENT
  • SEGMENT_PROFILE
  • SEGMENT_TAG
  • TAG
  • TAG_GROUP

We perform a weekly re-import of the above tables (except EVENT) to infer deletes.

We sync the CAMPAIGN and it's child tables using non-incremental endpoints. We re-import these tables once a day irrespective of the sync frequency you set.

By default, we sync events associated with both active and deleted profiles in Klaviyo. However, you can choose to only sync active profile events in the connector setup form.

Event Tracking

Klaviyo has standard email and web tracking events.

Email event includes:

  • Bounced Email
  • Clicked Email
  • Dropped Email
  • Marked Email as Spam
  • Opened Email
  • Received Email
  • Subscribed to List
  • Unsubscribed
  • Unsubscribed from List
  • Updated Email Preferences

Web tracking events come when you add web tracking to the site. It includes:

  • Active on Site
  • Viewed Product
