What is a Sync Bridge (Pipeline)?
0min
In DataLakeHouse data moves from source to target via a synchronization control object referred to as a Sync Bridge. You can imagine this as your source data on one side of a river and your target/destination system, such as Snowflake, on the other side, and bridge that connects the two. Often we refer to this also as a Data Pipeline as it is a common term in data integration to data and analytics engineers. However, bridges we believe handle constant flows of traffic, and are multi-faceted, and perhaps a better analogy for moving or synchronizing data.
A Sync Bridge contains information to help the viewer understand the status and associated details to each bridge.
