Calendly is a business communication platform used for teams to schedule, prepare, and follow up on external meetings. The platform integrates with your users' calendars and the integration through DLH.io allows you to synchronize data on an ongoing frequency into your data warehouse target destination of choice.
Pre-Requisites
- Access to your Calendly API (typically an Owner or Administrator of your Calendly account)
- If you are trying to authorize your Calendly connection with a standard user account such as an employee of your company that does not have Admin or Owner permission then most of the data will not be synchronized.
- Data is retrieved at an Oranization level for Calendly. You must have Admin or Owner permissions, or invite a user with Admin or Owner permission to authorize access to Calendly for your source connection in order for data synchronization to work correctly. Review this page as DLH.io behind the scenes connects to the Calendly API securely but the user connecting aligns with Calendly access privileges, https://developer.calendly.com/getting-started
DataLakeHouse.io securely connects to your Calendly account instance by redirecting you to the Calendly authorization screen for you to sign in and authenticate your account. DataLakeHouse.io does not capture or store your password/credentials.
Using the form please complete the following basic steps:
- Enter a Name or Alias for this connection, in the Name/Alias field, that is unique from other connectors.
- Enter in the Target Schema Prefix field, a name that will be unique in your data cloud destination where you wish to land the data.
- Click the Authorize Your Account button which will transport you to the Calendly login, where you will login with your account credentials.
- Once your credentials are accepted and you allow DataLakeHouse.io to access your data, you will be automatically redirected back to this DataLakeHouse.io portal and you should be able to see a successful connection.
- After the successful connection Create a Sync Bridge and point to your target destination in order to begin the synchronization/replication of data.
