SQL Server

Microsoft SQL Server is a relational database management system developed by Microsoft. As a database server, it is a software product with the primary function of storing and retrieving data as requested by other software applications—which may run either on the same computer or on another computer across a network.

DataLakeHouse synchronizes SQL Server databases to Snowflake better than other platforms because we're experts in SQL Server technology as well, so we've baked-in features like the ability to:

  • Toggle the requirement for using or not using Primary Keys on tables
  • Leverage timestamps for tracking changes
  • Use Change Tracking or Change Data Capture (CDC)

Documentation Available for Integrating SQL Server with DataLakeHouse:

  • Basic SQL Server Setup: Basic SQL Server Setup
  • Change Log: (see change log)
