This is not recommended. We recommend using a service account configuration for the Snowflake user. If hardened security is required we recommend have a user enabled with the Key Pair Authentication Setup configuration.
Currently any user with an MFA enabled account, will be prompted, and if MFA prompt is not confirmed in 60 seconds the connection will fail. It will not continually ping the user for MFA confirmation after this time limit.
Therefore we do not recommend using an MFA enabled account for any Data Sync or Data Catalog setup.
No. This option is not available. It would technically cause your Sync Bridge data pipeline jobs to prompt the OAuth user each time the process runs which is not optimal and therefore not an option in DLH.io.
